Pavel Trnka (IEEE Mmeber) received M.Sc. degree from the University of West Bohemia, Pilsen, Czech Republic in 2002 and Ph.D. degree from the same University in 2005. He was student of University of Applied Science, Fachhochschule, Regensburg, Germany for six month and worked at the Department of Research, Maschienenenfabrik Reinhausen, Germany 2003/2004. In the years 2006 - 2007 he was a Postdoctoral Associate, High Voltage Laboratory of ECE, Mississippi State University, MS, USA. In the year 2008 became dr. hab. University of Zilina, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Slovakia. He was vice dean on UWB in Pilsen and worked as faculty in the Department of Technologies and Measurement of FEE, UWB in Pilsen and researcher of RICE. He is co-author of two books and numerous papers. His research interest includes aging monitoring of insulation systems and pulse voltage stress. He is active member of Technical Committee of IEC TC 112, TNK 110.
Magdaléna Trnková received M.Sc. degree from the Technical University of Košice, Slovak Republic in 2002 and Ph.D. degree from the same University in 2006. She has been working at the Department of Technologies in Electronics, Technical University of Košice as researcher from October 2005 to March 2007. From April 2007 she started working in ETD Transformatory a.s. as the Purchaser. From October 2009 she started work in Sales Department as the Project Manager. She is co-author of one book and numerous papers. She is active member of Technical Committees of IEC TC 51 and 68, TNK 102.
